Types of Submissions
The type of submissions accepted for guest blog posts include promotion of authors and book releases in the genres of historical romance, contemporary romance or romantic suspense. Occasionally, submissions regarding the craft of writing will be accepted targeting writers who are trying to improve their writing techniques. Other features will include historical posts on a particular piece of history or unique historical research a writer may have conducted for a story.
Submission Requirements
The word count for submissions should be between 500-800 words. Images of the author will be welcomed such as a head and shoulder shot or a candid pose with at a minimum of 150 resolution and at least 300 pixel width. The shape can be portrait or landscape as long as the image isn’t stretched or distorted. Images of book covers should also be 150 resolution and 300-600 pixel width at portrait size. You can submit 1-2 or 3-dimensional images of book covers. All images should be in a format of .jpg, .png, .gif or pdf.
You may submit links to author websites, book purchases on Amazon or other featured areas where the book may be purchased. Please double-check to ensure all submitted links are accurate. No links of http:// will be accepted. All links must be https:// format. You may also provide a link to a video book trailer or the YouTube code to display the actual video on this site.
Content Decisions
The site owner reserves the right to reject or accept blog submissions, and may edit accepted submissions to correct grammatical errors and punctuation accordingly. Content must pertain to authors, books or research for traditional romantic novels or novellas that are either contemporary, historical or romantic suspense. Mysteries will be accepted as long as there is a thread of romance in the story.
